Finding your ring size
Your ring should fit your finger comfortably; snug enough so that it will not fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle. Measure your finger first thing in the morning and please remember that hot weather can cause swelling.
If you are unsure of your ring size, we do free ring sizing from our Studio in Melbourne. Please contact me to arrange an appointment.
If you're not local but near enough to a Jewellers, please get sized there. This is the most accurate for sizing.
Otherwise, you can grab a plastic ring sizer. When you are ordering choose custom and pop in the details.
This is a hard one without chatting. It depends on your finger size like Barbie versus He-mans. Your metal choice - which can be determined by what the stock market is feeling. Gemstones, engraving and labour. Many factors pals. Let's chat.
Rings ordered off the site are made to order with your size, please note that pieces take 2 - 3 weeks to make. If you need your order by a specific date please email before you have ordered and I will work with you to make it happen.
All metals will tarnish over time and with wear, sterling silver the most. If your jewellery needs a clean and polish let me know and I'll be happy to discuss options, as a general rule any pieces with stones set I like to see periodically to check the setting. No one wants to lose a gemstone.
Contrast backgrounds in some pieces that have engraving has been blackened applied to the letters and lines. Over time this can wear off if you would like the piece to touched up, please send an email and I'll work out a fix.
Any jewellery with pearls, emeralds, opals and other "softer" stones should be treated with a little extra TLC. No perfume and when you are not wearing the pieces and place them back in the box.
Where possible I work with recycled metals. If you have old pieces sitting in your jewellery box I am more than to work out a plan to use them. Same goes for heirloom gemstones. All gemstones are sourced from Australian suppliers.
I ship all jewellery in compostable packaging. Your jewellery is shipped in a branded jewellery box. This is not an area I have found a workaround yet. I do offer a credit of $10 to your next piece if the box is returned to me.
I am fully committed to working towards a zero waste studio, it's the environment I care about.
Yes, I have a wish list! Which isn't the everyday norm of what jewellers do but I'm not your average jeweller.
- Signet Rings. More please. Being able to translate an idea on a flat surface is a challenge I LOVE.
- Death. I have worked on a number of mourning jewellery pieces and I feel honoured given the opportunity to do.
- Space - meteorites and natural stones, please.
- Nature, put a flower on it.
